Well, isn’t this interesting? States with a higher percentage of gun ownership have a higher rate of gun deaths. Wow. Can that be correct? Guns make us safer. And guns don’t kill people, remember, people kill people. So maybe…no, it can’t be…could people WITH guns kill more people than people without guns? No, no…of course not. As I pointed out in an early post, if mass shooters, for example, didn’t have guns they’d be running into schools and movie theaters and kill dozens of people anyway. They’d just strangle them all instead or something. So this certainly is puzzling. Higher gun ownership correlates with high gun deaths. Puzzling.
